Family Friendly Experience at Mount Shasta
We want people to experience the phenomenal view of Mount Shasta that our hotel provides. Families are able to enjoy our extremely large grass area that has picnic tables, BBQ pits, seasonal fruit trees, and hammocks. Something that we think is convenient for our guests is having a full community kitchen for anyone that wants to cook a meal for themselves.
My wife and I purchased Swiss Holiday Lodge in October, 1998. We started through an opportunity that was given to us by a family member. When we arrived at this hotel, we had no clue on how to run a business. Another struggle we faced was that the hotel was not in the best condition and needed a lot of updating.
Every year, we try to upgrade a certain part of the hotel to make our clientele’s stay more pleasant. Swiss Holiday Lodge is a single family owned business and we all put in our best effort to keep the hotel in its best state. Overall, owning a business is hard work yet is one of our biggest blessings!
